Join us for breakfast with Lt. Governor Bill Bolling!
You Are Cordially Invited to our
July Breakfast with
Virginia Lt. Governor Bill Bolling
“Creating Jobs, Improving the Economy:
The Importance of the 2010 Elections”
Bill Bolling was first elected 40th Lt. Governor of Virginia in 2005, a year that favored Democrats. Widely viewed as a probable candidate for Governor in 2009, Bolling instead successfully ran for re-election – thus avoiding what could have been a bruising and destructive nomination process. Prior to his election as Lt. Governor, Bolling served ten years as State Senator and prior to that as Chairman of the Hanover County Board of Supervisors.
During his second term as Lt. Governor, Bolling’s focus has been on getting Virginia’s economy moving again and creating jobs. At Governor McDonnell’s request, Bolling serves as Virginia’s Chief Jobs Creation Officer, responsible for coordinating the state’s economic development programs across numerous state agencies, and working with business leaders to identify ways to improve the state’s economy. He is also responsible for shepherding the Governor’s economic development initiatives through the General Assembly, and assisting economic development officials in recruiting new business and industry to Virginia.
With the Obama jobs plan consisting of “more government hiring,” you won’t want to miss this opportunity to hear the Virginia Republican plan for good-paying private sector jobs!
